Christmas remembers Jesus’ birth and celebrates the Incarnation. It is a time for thanksgiving. Through Jesus Christ, God gave himself to the world to make it better.

Easter takes place at the end of Holy Week and commemorates the end of Jesus’ life and his resurrection.

What is Lent?
A
A 40-day period of spiritual preparation for Easter. It begins on Ash Wednesday, a day of solemnity and having a low view of self-importance compared with God. Some Christians give up things they enjoy for lent or they may do fundraising work.
