Q

describe the flow of blood/ corrculation in the blood

A
  • deoxygenated blood pumped from heart to lungs to pick up oxygen
  • oxygenated blood pumped to the heart
  • heart then pumps oxygenated blood to the body
-oxygen and other useful substances diffuse into body cells
  • waste products picked up by the blood
-deoxygenated blood returns back to the heart where cycle starts again
