2.2.1 Revalidation

Question 1

The GPhC standards require pharmacy professionals to maintain, develop and use their professional knowledge and skills.

Revalidation helps pharmacy professionals to:

Answer 1

Keep their professional skills and knowledge up to date
Reflect on how to improve
Demonstrate to the public and patients how they provide safe and effective care.

Question 2

To revalidate, pharmacy professionals must submit the following records each year:

Answer 2

Four continuing professional development (CPD) records (at least two planned)
A peer discussion
A reflective account.
