- How common is demodicosis in large animals?
- In bovine, caprine and swine it is manifested as what?
- In equine and ovine, nodules are usually not seen but, alopecia, scaling and erythema with
papules and/or pustules are occasionally present. - If deep skin scrapings are negative excise any present nodule and examine the thick, caseous
content for what? - Treatment is not usually attempted. Cull severely affected animals.
