1. How common is demodicosis in large animals?
2. In bovine, caprine and swine it is manifested as what?
3. In equine and ovine, nodules are usually not seen but, alopecia, scaling and erythema with
   papules and/or pustules are occasionally present.
4. If deep skin scrapings are negative excise any present nodule and examine the thick, caseous
   content for what?
5. Treatment is not usually attempted. Cull severely affected animals.
