When individuals dominate key decisions beyond the authority of their positions

e.g. employees who act like they are actually the manager.

What is a strong culture?

A

Where staff adopt the attitudes and values of an organisation and therefore believe in
the business and in achieving the company goals. Staff will often go the extra mile and this can be seen
through excellent service.

A

Where staff do not buy into the attitudes and values of an organisation and therefore treat
their work as a ‘job’. This can be often seen in poor service.

A

promote staff loyalty and motivation to do well, which may result in more sharing of ideas and efficient
