What general category of drug falls under Category I?
Opiates, opium derivatives, hallucinogenic substances, depressants, stimulants, cannabimimetic agents, fentanyl-related substances
Name Schedule I substances.
Heroin, Marijuana, MDMA (ecstasy), LSD, GHB, Mescaline, Peyote, Psilocybin, Psilocin, Cathinone (bath salts)
Name common Schedule II drugs.
Opiates: Codeine, etorphine hydrochloride, hydrocodone, hydromorphone, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, cocaine, carfentanil, fentanyl, methadone, pethidine/meperidine
Stimulants: Amphetamine, methamphetamine
Depressants: Pentobarbital
Immediate precursors to amphetamine and methamphetamine, PCP, or fentanyl
What are common Schedule III agents?
Stimulants:Depressants: Combo drugs containing secobarbital or pentobarbital, suppository dosage of seco- or pentobarbital, embutramide, ketamine, tiletamine and zolazepam (telazol), nalorphine, any mixture with buprenorphine, codeine and morphine mixtures with limited amounts of these drugs, anabolic steroids
Name common Schedule IV drugs.
Alfaxalone, chloral hydrate, diazepam, lorazepam, midazolam, phenobarbital, butorphanol
What is an example of a schedule V drug?
No more than 200 mg of codeine per 100mL or per 100g.
Schedule III - Not more than 1.8g of codeine per 100 mL nor 90mg per dosage unit
