The Strike Team Leader is responsible for the overage. You must make an appointment with the Shift Commander to explain what happened, if no receipts or there is an overage.

What is the Downtown SAN DIEGO Partnership Program?
Mayor Faulconer’s program of reducing homelessness.
It is a family reunification program for homeless people. The City will provide a one-way ticket back to their loved-ones, usually within 24 hours, free of charge. They are also given clean clothes.
They must the following:
- free of warrants
- free of PC 290 registry (Megan’s Law)
- Hep A vaccine (strongly encouraged)

What are some of the “cons” or watchouts to Helitanker 729?
They drop a large volume of water, thus this poses an extreme risk to ground crews or civilians. Falling tree limbs, or large tumbling rocks.
Prior to approving a water drop from Helitanker 729, what does the IC have to do?
Get confirmation from all ground supervisors that all ground crews and civilians are clear from the drop area.
Dedicating a person to monitor A/G or making it a priority channel is important to reduce injuries from an aircraft water drop?
YES. Dedicate one person for that A/G responsibility, or at least setup the contact person’s radio with A/G as the priority channel.
What channels are used for direct channels now?
Back up direct channel?
“O” series in every zone. “Oscar”(9O, 8O, etc)
Back up is (12P) FMARD
Can direct channels (8O, 9O, etc) be added into regular scan groups?
No
What is highly recommended if the medical examiner’s certificate will be expiring within 30-60 days?
Personnel should take the medical examination report directly to their local DMV for processing.

RM-1551 — anyone driving, backing, spotting, or other personnel guiding the apparatus.
RM-1555 — Supervisor completes this form for EACH person that contributed to the accident.
