- VITEK method = automated test to find MIC (min inhibitory conc.) range
- EUCAST method = bugs grow and on discs put on media, there are specific defined antibiotics (specific antibiotics that we can give patient)

what does low ct value on PCR mean - really ill or recovering?

low ct value = really ill
high ct value = recovering well

point of care test (easy, affordable, fast) = like covid tests (the rapid ones)

HAIN (little box to take sample), mycobacterium growth indicator tubes (can also add in antibiotics which quickly shows resistance)
