Q

What sparked the Sepoy Rebellion? Who was involved?

A

EIC recruited small amounts of soldiers from various provinces, so there wouldn’t be large groups from each who could band together.

Soldiers were unhappy that their regions were limited to the money and benefits of enlisting.

Also, Enfield began using grease in their new cartridges.

These soldiers, with unhappy Kings whose land was taken, revolted agains the EIC.
