This procedure is usable only at low altitudes to remove smoke/fumes from the cockpit only. Descend as required. ELECTRICAL SMOKE OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN procedures must be used as required, prior to using this procedure. Do not use this procedure to remove smoke or fumes from cabin as they will be drawn into the cockpit.

An engine flameout will be indicated by N1 and N2 windmilling, residual fuel flow and oil pressure. If ART activation, good engine parameters may flash on the EDP.
