What is the function of the Air Cond Reset switch? (3/3)

What happens at lower altitudes with Equipment Cooling switch in OVRD?
Electronic equipment may fail after 30 minutes
(Cargo Fire Arm switch AFT puts the equipment cooling system into OVRD)

No, auto selected for certain internal malfunctions.
Will auto shutdown at lower altitudes and higher OAT, auto restart when conditions are suitable.
What are the indications that Pack is in Stby Cooling?
- PACK MODE L/R EICAS msg
- STBY COOLING in amber on AIR synoptic
What happens if both Packs switch to Stby Cooling mode?
Stby Cooling will maintain cabin press regardless of altitude or OAT
(may result in warm temps at low altitudes)

(After descent, when the airplane and cabin altitudes are approximately equal, the outflow valves open to protect the airplane against negative press)

- Both equipment cooling supply fans fail
- Smoke is detected in the equipment cooling system
