Ex. Forbidden city
Place
Transfer of people, things, ideas from one place to another.

Created by the interaction of a central node and surrounding locations (form of transportation flows, information exchandes, movements of people, etc

Functional or Nodal Regions
Regions exhibiting some for form of uniformity in one or more variables
cultural characteristics - crops, religion, politics, etc

Vernacular region
is a representation of various phenomena over all or a part of earth’s surface usually rendered on a flat surface such as paper or or computer monitor
