No. Vegetation’s can take 2 weeks to manifest & can only be seen if >2mm on TTE
A patient present with possible infective endocarditis and is an IV drug abuser. What valve would most likely be affected?
TV (60%). Also, Rt vegetations are larger
What is the classic triad for infective endocarditis?
Fever
New/ Changed murmur
Positive blood cultures.
