A

TO is to be stopped

  • Solo aircraft is to request taxi to the check bay or ORP and is to advise the RWY-DI of the ocurence
  • THe DI is to make a judgement call on the course of action to follow.
  • IF the check bay or the ORP is not available, the aircaft is to be taxied to the lines and the sortie cancelled.

What will occur if a solo student rolls without a TO clearance?

A

ATC will apply immediate control of the situation
- If student aborts, the DI should advise the student to request taxi to the lines, as a TO without clearance is a safety breach and will no doubt be playing on the student’s mn.
