Fair Deal
A list of proposals put forth by Truman as an agenda to continue FDR’s New Deal policies (Truman wanted to address the economic inequalities and social justice but was shot down by Congress)
Taft-Hartley Act
Prohibits certain union practices and requires the disclosure of certain financial and political activities by unions (outlawed union shop and made labor unions liable for damages effectively slowing organized labor)
