  1. Effusions - thoracic & abdominal
  2. Urine sediiments, urine bladder washing
  3. Prostate - direct aspirate, washing
  4. Lymphoadenopathy - focal, generalised
  5. Examination of metastatic processes
  6. Cutaneous/ subcutaneous masses, ulcerative lesions
  7. Unidentified masses

Eosinophilic inflammation - cytological picture, aetiology, occurrence

A

Characterised by more than 3% of eosinophils in the tissue
It can be caused due to: flea bite, feline eosinophilic skin disease, anaplastic syndrome, allergy

Acute: numerous red blood cells in tissue accompanied with neutrophils. Oedema

Chronic: presence of macrophages, lymphocytes, and plasma cells. They have engulfed some erythrocytes. We can see blood pigments as hemosiderin
