Static Webpages
They are hypertext documents that stay the same for everyone who accesses it. They contain content that is pre-built and remains the same each time the page is loaded.
Dynamic Webpages
They are hypertext documents which are different for everyone who accesses it. They are generated when they are loaded and can appear different to different users.
Blogs
An information website posted to the world wide web consisting of diary entry like text. They are used to share information with like minded individuals such as those who enjoy the same hobbies and beliefs
Podcasts
A downloadable audio file, usually on a certain topic such as sports or gaming that can be listened to when convenient for the user. It can be used to learn more about a topic, keep up with current events or for entertainment purposes.
Streamed Audio and Video
The process of receiving video/audio data in a continuous flow. This allows the user to access video/audio immediately without having to wait for the file to download entirely. Enables users to view videos or listen to audio online without the need to download it.
Social Media Channels
They provide a huge amount of data on individuals in an informal space. Used for a variety of reasons such as sharing, learning, interacting and marketing.
Document Stores
Allows users to store files online in cloud storage. Common services that are similar to this is google drive and drobox. It used to store large amounts of data.
RSS Feeds
Allows users to subscribe to updates from their favourite websites. Its an easy way to stay up-to-date with your favourite websites.
