What is proprietary software?
Software that is copyrighted
Product should be free of bugs
Tech support
Feature updates usually available
Initial/subscription cost
Software cannot be adapted to meet user needs as no source code available
Can be limited to a single computer or network so no redistribution unless allowed
What is a Creative Commons License?
Makes it easier to share copyrighted work online
Help copyright owners share their work while keeping the copyright
