Q

What are hazard profiles used for?

A

Q

Why might a hazard profile be unreliable?

A

Comparing different events is difficult, because it necessitates the same processes, scale of measurement and type of damage for each event. Temporal and spatial distributions can be difficult to compare. Also, focusing on just one aspect can distort the representation of the others.
