  • bible can reveal god to christians as it gives a clear image of god and sets him apart rrom other gods

  • religious leaders interpret the bible and the meanings of christianity then deliever their findings to the congress
    -p ersonal god, as christians believe individuals can have a relationship with god leading them to talk as if god were a person with human emotions and characteristics
  • impersonal god, perhaps god is simply an idea, the idea of infinity or the ifea of a prome number. perhaps god id a force that invisibly influences earth. “the universe is held together by forces, maybe god is one of them”

Nirvana, the enlightened soul follows the 8 fold path to ultimate spiritual reality
- the world is not fully real, the buddhist seeks escape/liberation from this unreal existence
- space and time are cynical, such world system come into being survive for a time and then destroyed then are remade
- buddhists seek an escape or liberation from this unreal existence
- ultimate reality is nothing but transcending truth, which governs the universe and human life

God the father (creator and sustainer of all things)
God the Son - incarnation of God as a human being, jesus christ on earth

  • nature and the world is divided up into responsibilities of numerous spirits and gods, under one high god, or seen as aspects of one god.
  • these gods are separate, squabbling individuals or personifications of the character of one spiritual reality
  • modern pagans have a form of polyheism

advantage of polytheism
- it may work in the sense of bringing luck, also nature can be explained and tamed by reference to spiritual powers
