- 24 Pin, double sided
- Used for hosts and devices
- On the other end is a standard USB A connector. Acts as a USB 2.0 or USB 3.1
- Also acts as an analog output 3.5mm

- Apple’s proprietary cable
- 8-pin digital signal
- Used for iPhone, iPad, iPod devices
- It has some advantages over USB Micro: Higher power, double sided, simple design

- Uses the internet and data connection
- May require service or configuration by provider

- Used for headphones, speakers, smartwatches, etc..
