Regarding a Stall Warning, what must it be compared to other warnings?
Stall Warning must be a Unique Warning
With regards to an Over Speed warning, what are the audio warning and Speed Tape indicators based on?
- Audio warning is based on the Actual configuration of the AC (i.e. If flaps are extending)
- Speed Tape indicator is based on lever position
What distances from a selected altitude will an Altitude Alert register for:
- Boeing
- Airbus
- Boeing: Between +- 300 and 900 ft
- Airbus: Between +- 250 and 750 ft
Describe a Master Warning:
- What alerts are given
- What is required from the pilots
- Continuous aural and visual indication
- Requires immediate corrective action
What are the reasons for cancelling a Master Warning?
- Causes issues when talking to ATC, each other, fire department etc
- If a second issue arises then you would not be notified by a Master Warning

- Requires subsequent corrective action
