Due to FOOSH injury
Fracture of the distal radial head
Dislocation of radioulnar joint
What is a Colles fracture?
Due to FOOSH
Distal radial fracture with dorsal angulation
Dinner fork deformity
What is a supracondylar fracture?
Fracture of the distal humerus
Common in children
Fracture will be superior to elbow with displacement of distal fragment
Require neurovascular examination due to risk of damage of a variety of structures
What is a Hills-Sachs lesion?
Anterior shoulder dislocation
Cortical depression of humerus in posterolateral head
What is bartons fracture?
Intra articular radial fracture with joint involvement
What is associated with a coughing fit in an elderly women?
Osteoporotic wedge fracture
-due to being post menopausal and not on HRT
What bone dislocation is most associated with carpal tunnel?
Lunate- dislocates anteriorly and affects carpal tunnel
