What is ‘the Passion’?
The last days of Jesus’ life can be referred to as the Passion because it represents his suffering leading up to his death.
What is the Eucharist?
The Eucharist is a sacrament where you take bread & wine to symbolise Jesus’ body and blood.
Why is Jesus’ resurrection so important?
The divine act proves that he was the Son of God and confirms their belief in the Trinity and an omnipotent God. It also shows that Jesus is their saviour, as this act allows humans to go to Heaven.
What is significant about Jesus’ ascension?
Jesus’ ascension was when he was taken up to Heaven 40 days after his resurrection. It marks the end his time on Earth, showing that his mission was complete, as well as preparing the way for the Holy Spirit to come to Earth.
