The NASA ASRP form does not protect you in the case of what type(s) of offenses?
Accidents and criminal offenses are wholly excluded from the program. (EEPP p. 340)
You receive a flight that requires you to fly 100 miles from base to pick up a patient. What info must you obtain?
check: weather, fuel req’s, alternates, traffic delays, and performance as it relates to:
- re: airport elev. / rwy slope
- wind / temp / aircraft weight
- rwy length / TO LDG distance
- NOTAMS
You received and accepted a clearance from ATC. You need to deviate. Why and how do you legally deviate?
Why? Emergency - then deviate as needed and report to ATC ASAP after deviation. (This includes TCAS driven actions. EEPP p. 330)
During your pre-flight you notice that the Airworthiness Certificate is faded, worn and illegible. Can you legally operate this aircraft?
Not legal to fly - it needs to be legible. Get replacement copy asap. (EEPP p.
