- on matters GOM … double check that a reference to, for example GOM 2.53 isn’t actually 2.54 - the data copied from prior flash cards may have been from a much older version of GOM - therefore reading a bit of the GOM isn’t a terrible idea
To act as PIC or in any other capacity as a required flight crewmember of a civil aircraft what must the pilot have in his / her personal possession?
think RPM:
- Radio Permit (FCC) license (but outside USA only)
- Pilot’s Certificate: pilot license + photo ID
- Medical: to show whoever that you are legal
Refusal to submit to a drug or alcohol test is grounds for what?
- Denial of an application for any certificate, rating, or authorization issued under this part for a period of up to 1 year after the date of that refusal; or
- Suspension or revocation of any certificate, rating, or authorization issued under this part.
You hold either a class 1 or 2 medical. You work at Air Methods (not under Part 121) … how long as these valid for ops at AMC?
first class - expires the 12th month (under 40 @ exam) after exam / over 40 @ exam? 6th month after exam date
second class - any age - the 12th month after exam
If you lose your airmen or medical cert, how can you replace and how long is replacement good for?
Good for 60 days.
If you get injured and need to take meds, which make you drowsy, is you medical cert still valid?
No. It might be though once you stop taking the meds and you’ll have to report this on your next visit to the AME.
If you falsify your Pilot Duty Time logs what action might be take against you?
Suspension or revocation of any certificate you hold.

How long do you have to notify the FAA of a change of address?
