Explain what is a “twisted pair copper cabling.”
A
It is a balanced pair operation that has 2 wires with equal and opposite signals.
- 2 wires that has +/- to transmit
- 2 wires that has +/- to receive

What is a coaxial cable? What are the 2 coaxial cables used?
A
2 or more form share a common axis.
RG-6 = TV/digital cable.
RG-59 = used as a patch cable (not for long distances).

What is a Twinaxial cable? Where is it used?
A
Two inner connectors (2 axial “wires”).
This is used for full duplex, common on 10GB ethernet SFP+.

What is the difference between the 2 standards - T568A and B? Which standard is used most?
A
The difference is due to the color assignments for pins 1-3 and 6.
T568B is used more often.
