A

A

A

A touchscreen/capacitive pen with which you can provide input into a screen. Emulates a real-world pen, or pencil.

A

A stylus that communicates independently with the device even when they are not touching. Benefits: more precise, additional functionality. Drawback: not universal. Example: Apple Pencil.

What is a docking station?

A

A device that stays in place and connects to a portable laptop. Printers, keyboards, mice and displays plug into the docking station and gets rid of the need to plug in and out.

How does a port replicator differ from a docking station ?

A

Similar to a docking station, but usually connects via USB instead of something proprietary. These are usually smaller and don’t have the option to expand the functionality of the laptop.
