The trade descriptions cat prevents the manufacturer’s, retailers or service providers from misleading consumers as to what they are spending their money on.

The act forced them to be more truthful about their service or product and not deliberately misleading consumers into spending their money on a false claim.

-Ensures the consumer is informed of the country of origin
-The product must be correctly described on or in its packaging
-Ensure that the product performs as advertised on the packaging

-Employee Safety is concerned with the safety of personnel mainly during the manufacturing stage of a product.

-Employees can ensure employee safety by:
-Getting them the correct training in their particular tasks
-Providing them with appropriate safety clothing
-making them aware of hazards/ risks by displaying safety signage
-Correct ventilation and lighting in the work area dust and fumes are very dangerous, especially if workers are left exposed
