*If God is benevolent then he would care enough to stop the suffering caused by evil
*But if he is omnipotent and has the power to stop suffering but hasn’t maybe he doesnt care enough.

in what way does the Lord’s Prayer help believers to depend on God and trust him even in times of suffering?

A

The Lords prayer says “and lead us not to temptation but deliver us from evil” and this part of the prayer allows the believers to depend on God when suffering due to them praying for a purer life and a life away from evil.

what are the different Christian views on Evil and Suffering?

A

*Some Christians see suffering as a natural result of the sinful nature of humans
*Other Christians see this world as a test and that God has input Human evil within our reach to see how responsible we are.
*Some others feel as that God has a purpose which we as humans don’t understand fully and suffering therefore has a purpose which if not understood.
