What is ICAO; where and when was it formed?
International Civil Aviation Organisation establishes common standards across international aviation.
Established at the Chicago Convention in 1944
What is the function of EASA?
The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) conducts analysis and research of safety, authorizing foreign operators, giving advice for the drafting of EU legislation, implementing and monitoring safety rules, giving type-certification of aircraft and components as well as the approval of organisations involved in the design, manufacture and maintenance of aeronautical products.
