BREAK THE ICE

Hi (Client), my name is (Agent), I work with the life insurance company American Income Life.

I phoned you earlier about your insurance benefits through The Will Kit Program and Safe Life Network.

How are you doing today? (chit chat)

So (Client), what do you do for work? How long have you been doing that? (Spouse) where do you work? How long have you been there? [KIDS] Ask about them what they do, etc.?

A

Just to let you know- we do work in a training environment, so if you see anyone in the background, or someone pop in or out of the room- it’s just someone here to learn, or my manager checking up on me.

Totally normal, but it’s just going to be you and I talking today.

Sound good?

Q

SET UP

Now let me ask, is this the first time you’ve heard about the No-Cost Law & Will Kit Program, or AIL?

I’ll back up a bit and fill you in. American Income is the unionized company that provides permanent and portable insurance benefits to the major unions in Canada.

Unless you are a union member, you may have never heard about them.

But I’m sure you’ve heard of their parent company, GLOBE LIFE.

Globe Life has been providing permanent life insurance for children and their families for over 100 years, and they have more policies in force than any other insurance company in the world.

A

The Safe Life Network is one of the largest groups that they work with, and they have endorsed these No-Cost Law & Will Kits.

They have us explain the kits, what they do, how to fill them out- and more recently AIL has actually been asked to focus on providing these kits alongside with permanent insurance benefits to help protect families and their children.

So (Client); it’s important for you to understand that these programs are the same programs that unions like the police, firefighters, paramedics, and many others have set up to protect their members- and their families.

The only reason you can try to qualify is because they have now made them available to families in the community.

Does that make sense?
