What is Lambert-Beers law?
A
A = epsilonbc, where A is the absorbance, epsilon is the molar absorptivity, b is the width of the cell, and c is the concentration.

What is turbidometry?
A
Turbidometry is measuring the amount of light that passes through a suspension of microbe with a spectrophotometer or other optical measuring device. It is also used for estimation of cellmass, since the amount of light absorbed or scattered by the microscope is proportional to its cell density.
