A

They are mainly in the north and west of the country.

e. g. the Grampian Mountains located in the North of England. It makes up part of the Highlands and home to Ben Nevis
e. g. Snowdonia is found in the west of England.

A

They are mainly in the south and east of the country

e.g. the Thames Estuary is a lowland area with a wide valley situated in the very south of England
