Which light colors are used to indicate conditions that require immediate and timely attention of the Flight Crew?

A

Red = immediate
Conditions which require the immediate attention of the Flight Crew are indicated by red warning lights. These lights are normally located in the pilots’ primary field of vision and indicate engine, wheel well, cargo, or APU fires; autopilot, autothrottle disconnects; and landing gear unsafe conditions.

Amber = timely
Conditions which require the timely attention of the Flight Crew are indicated by amber caution

By pushing the NORMAL/100% control lever, the regulator is adjusted from the air/oxygen mixture to 100% oxygen.

By Rotating the Emergency/Test selector, the regulator is adjusted to supply O2 under pressure.

How is the PASS OXYGEN system activated?

A

With the switch in NORMAL, the system is automatically activated by an aneroid switch at a cabin altitude of 14,000 ft. When required, the PASS OXYGEN switch may be manually positioned to ON to activate the system.

A

- a minimum of three of the four entry/service doors are closed, and
- either engine is running, and
- the aircraft air/ground logic indicates that the aircraft is in the air or both thrust levers are advanced to the takeoff power position

  • MAINT light and OVERHEAD system annunciator and MASTER CAUTION lights illuminate if a flight lock has failed or fault is detected.
