Cannabis means:
any part of a cannabis plant, including the phytocannabinoids produced by or found in such a plant, regardless of whether that part has been processed or not, other than a part of the plant referred to in Schedule 2 [of the Cannabis Act];

any substance or mix of substances that contains or has on it any part of a cannabis plant; or
any substance that is identical to any phytocannabinoid produced by, or found in, such a plant, regardless of how the substance was obtained [including synthetic cannabis products].

Health Care Professional means:
a member of a College regulated under the Regulated Health Professions Act.
Medical Accommodation means:
modifying the workplace environment or the functions of a position to enable a member needing medically supported accommodation to perform the essential duties of the position or the essential duties of an alternative available position for which the member is qualified.
Medical Advisor means:
a licenced, qualified medical practitioner engaged by the Toronto Police Service.
Restricted Duties (Substance Abuse) for the purposes of a member seeking help for a substance abuse problem, means:
work that is modified to permit a member with a disability to work in accordance with limitations imposed by the Medical Advisor – Wellness – Medical Advisory Services.
Sick Benefits means:
sick leave accrued in accordance with the relevant Collective Agreement.
Sickness means:
an illness/injury that is not work related but which prevents a member from working or completing a tour of duty.
