Why do PCOS patients have infertility?

If you have ultrasounded pelvis and found firm, nodular, non-mobile mass in the adnexa, what do you do next?

Findings of minimal change disease
Edema, fatigue, abdominal pain and proteinuria.
Nephrotic syndrome
80% of pediatric nephrotic syndromes are minimal change disease = normal renal architecture with diffuse effacement of foot processes of podocytes on EM.
anabolic steroids do what to your hormones?
inhibit GnRH release by the hypothalamus (which then causes decreased LH and FSH by the pituitary). You get infertile.
Vit A deficiency
Poor adaptation to darkness, photophobia, dry scaly skin, dry conjunctiva, dry cornea, wrinkled, cloudy cornea.
Bitot spots (sliver-gray plaques on the bulbar conjunctiva)
Follicular hyperkeratosis of the shoulders, buttocks, and extensor surfaces.
