Definition of adequate contractions
> 200 MVU spaced 10 min apart
Arrest of labor
> 4 hours with no cervical change and adequate contractions
6 hours with no cervical change and inadequate contractions
–> C-section
(must start at >6 cm cervical dilation)
Severely depressed pt who is not eating or drinking. Failed SSRI, used to do well on TCA. Do what next?
