Alcohol - (alcohol dehydrogenase)> Acetaldehyde -(aldehyde dehydrogenase) -> acetate

4 (A) - Safest option is don’t drink when pregnant or planning pregnancy
(B) - Safest option is don’t drink while breastfeeding.
