- Is spread through the urine of infected animals, that goes in the soil, water and saliva from the mouth
- Humans that come into contact with water, soil or food contamination with urine from an infected animal

How to prevent leptospirosis
A
- Do not swim in the water that is contamination with infected animal urine
- You should wear protective clothing or footwear when exposed to contamination with water or soil
