largest Mollusc class: includes snails, slugs and limpets. have torsion, shell coiling, feed with radula, locomotive using head-foot
Bivalvia
Second largest Mollusc class: clams, oysters, muscles and scallops
sheet-like mantel
shell consisting of 2 laterally compressed valves
Cephalopoda
Mollusc class: Octopuses, squid, cuttlefish and nautiluses
most complex molluscs, anterior part of foot modified into tentacles or arms, head in line with visceral mass, mantle encloses the body (except for the tentacles)
