ok so I am going to give my verbal interpertation of how I remember ZOW. and all of the pressures then I will provide a diagram for my demastration

1. start with a picture so …. step one is draw > > > three times on a piece of paper label each one in order (top to bottom) 1..2..3
2. Ask your self what pressures are always stronger artery or venous.. duh artery. this means P_a will always go before P_V in every zone!!
3. Next starting in zone 1 write P_A First b/c we know the alveoli pressure is the highest here
4. Next right P_A in the middle of zone 2 b/c as we go down zones Alveoli pressure decreases
5. next place P_A in the last spot in Zone 3 b/c it is now the least pressure
6. Ok now go back and fill in the P_a and P_V values in teh empty spots. *** remember in every zone arterial pressure is always higher than venous
