Q

What movement example highlights the collaboration in set design and also the experimental use of set design (links to Trisha Brown)?

A

Larbi is DSC, he is facing SL while the life size cast of himself is facing directly opposite facing SR and he takes his hand and starts hitting himself with it on the head, face and shoulders as he gradually goes down to the floor - experimenting with the idea of confrontation - they are standing on either side of line suggesting the idea of the boundaries of self identity and how others see us
This also uses gestural movements influenced by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker
