Q

What is a movement example which shows the influence of Euro crash (Wim Vandekeybus) and the accumulation canon method from Anne TDK and Tanz Theatre?

A

The female dancer in all green is sat USL, while the singer is on SR. The performers in the cream colours join in with the singer as well as the vocal group and the lady in green also joins in. The lady in green puts noise cancelling headphones on and strikes a hammer on a metal plate. The dancers in cream perform accumulative canon like they are being controlled by the hammer. For example, the movements include dropping to the knees, dropping to the right elbow and going into a prone position on the floor - these staccato movements and swift change in levels emphasise the use of eurocrash
