We use zero conditional to talk about something which is always true or always happens as a result of something else
If+ present simple - present simple
You need to do some exercise every day if you want to be fit
We use first conditional to talk about something which will probably happen in the future as a result of something else.
If + present simple - future tense
If the photos are good, I’ll send them to you
If I haven’t come back by 9, start the dinner
Future time clause same as first conditional, just instead of if is in case, as soon as, when, after that is present tense
I’ll be ready as soon as I’ve had a cup of coffee
