Adverbs of manner usually go after the verb or verb phrase, however, with passive verbs they usually go in mid position before the main verb but after an auxiliary verb
He walks very slowly, he speaks Chinese fluently, the driver was seriously injured
Adverbs of frequency go before the main verb but after the verb to be, with two auxiliary verbs after the first one

Adverbs of time and place usually at the end of the sentence or clause, place before time

Adverbs of degree nearly and almost before a verb, extremely, incredibly, very before adjective and adverbs, a lot and much verb and after the verb
