What is a mean and how do you find it?
A mean in the avrage value of 3 or more numbers. You find in by adding all the numbers and divide the sum by the number of values.
What is the median and how did you find it?
The median is the median number of 3 or more numbrs. You find it by putting the numbers from smallest to largest and the number in the middle is your median if there isnt a middle number you add the two numbers together then divide them by two.
What is the mode and whet are the special cases?
The mode means the most frequent numer in a set of numbers. The special cases are:
- There is no mode if all the numbers occure the same amounts of times.
- There can be more than one mode if more than one number in most frequent.
what is a range and how do you find it?
The range is the difference between the highest and lowest numbers in a set. You find the range by puttind all the numbers in the set from smallest to largest then you subtract the lowest value from the largest.
What are outliers?
Outliers are numbers that might be much larger or smaller than the others in the set, and can drag the avrage up or down.
