What does BIDMAS stand for?
Bracers, Incidences, Division/Multiplication and Addition/Subtraction.
What are the three types of mathematical notation?
Decimal, Fractional and Exponential/Scientific.
What is a prime number?
A number that can only be divided by 1 and itself to give a whole number.
What does LCM stand for and what is it?
It stands for Lowest Common Multiple and it means the lowest number to have 2 or more factors.
What is a common factor?
The overlap of two or more numbers with the common factor(s) that can be divided by those numbers to have a whole number.
In Venn diagrams what is the union and the intersection areas.
the union is all of the sets and the intersection is the overlap of two or more sets.
What are prime factors?
Any number that are broken down into a combination of prime number(s).
Is the x axis the horizontal or vertical bi convention?
Horizontal
What is twice the number x squared plus 15 in algebraic notation?
y = 2 x^2 + 15
