Example: to strike a balance between work and family. How much you make and how much you spend. Screen time and social life. Etc.

Often used to talk about the past
Example: O didn’t think twice about swallowing capsules to smuggle drugs to Malta

Examples :
I cannot do that on such short notice

Take (something) at face value
To accept something as it appears to be rather than studying it more closely.
Example: I will take your word at face value.
The best of both worlds
A situation in which you can enjoy the advantages of two very different things at the same time.
Example: you get the best of both worlds when you work very little but make a lot of money

To be famous and written about in newspaper etc. Like celebrities.
Example: it’s dangerous to read the internet when you are in the public eye but you can keep your children out of the public eye

To make an effort to control your emotions and behave more calmly

Used to indicate that what someone says should not be probably recorded
One person asking a question but the other person wants to be honest. Example: yes we got along but off the record, there were a lot of issues

To get all the latest information about an activity or subject.
We hire a tutor to get our daughter up to speed.
