What are the 4 rules to describe disabilities?
Emphasis abilities, avoid negative words, exercising patience, ask if help is needed

The ability of individuals and systems to respond respectfully and efficiently to people of all cultures
What is specific learning difficulties?
in a specific area of learning such as dyslexia
What is physical conditions?
Cystic fibrosis, cerebalpalsy, spina bifida, sickle cell disease
What is physical impairments?
Difficulties with movement, mobility or coordination
What is learning difficulties?
vary in severity and caused in many ways, such as brain damage or syndrome
What is emotional and social difficulties?
Fear, depression, poor self esteem, isolation, loneliness
What is sensory impairments?
Visual or hearing
What is speech and language difficulties?
Stuttering delayed speech development
What is behavioural difficulties?
attention deficit disorder, attention hyperactivity deficit disorder

A program for infants and toddlers with disabilities ages birth through age 2 years, and their families
